Happy Thanksgiving Hornet Nation!
I had a great time earlier this week talking with some of our first graders, asking them what they are thankful for. The video of our conversations is below.
Our Thanksgiving break is Wednesday 11/23/22 through Friday 11/25/22. Wishes to all of our families for a Thanksgiving full of blessings.
Donations made to Family & Consumer Science Lab
Over the last month, two different donations of appliances were made to the Family and Consumer Science lab. Thanks to Whirlpool for providing two new refrigerators and to the Bacon family for their donation of an electric range. These additions and replacements will help provide more opportunities to our foods and "adulting" classes!

Athletics News
Fall Athletics Wrap Up
The fall athletics season officially came to a conclusion earlier this month and our athletics programs had plenty to be proud of. Altogether, our varsity teams had 18 all-conference honorees, one academic all-conference honoree, six all-district award winners and Coach Mark Schwemer was named the Div. III Public School Coach of the Year for girls soccer. Both the boys and girls soccer teams picked up victories in this year’s OHSAA Tournament. Boys soccer won the Sectional Championship before falling in the district semifinals and girls soccer advanced to the Sectional Championship against #1-seeded Bluffton. Grant Welte was just three positions shy of qualifying for the regional meet in cross country.
